Ambulatory Surgical Center of Stevens Point (Wis.). The multispecialty ASC opened in 2006. In 2010, the ASC began offering patients joint replacement procedures. Of its case mix, 45 percent are orthopedic in nature. Surgeons at the center offer services in spine, pain, podiatry, opthalmology and urology.

Advanced ASC (Redlands, Calif.). Built in 2004, Advanced ASC offers exclusively orthopedics with spine and total joint procedures. The ASC is equipped with three operating rooms. The surgery center's physicians hail from Loma Linda University and community hospitals. Some physicians have ownership in the ASC, which is Medicare certified.      

Advanced Surgery Center of Northern Louisiana (Monroe). Of the center's cases, 65 percent are orthopedic. Advanced Surgery Center of Northern Louisiana offers patients orthopedic, neurology and otolaryngology services. Founded in May 2012, the center had its first cases in January 2013. The ASC is a partnership between SurgCenter Development and the physician partners.
 
Advanced Surgery Center of Sarasota (Fla.). Founded in March 2012, the surgery center offers orthopedics, spine, joint, neurosurgery and podiatry services. The surgery center's case mix is 55 percent orthopedics. SurgCenter Development is partnered with ASC of Sarasota's surgeons.

Andrews Institute Ambulatory Surgery Center (Gulf Breeze, Fla.). The surgery center is a joint venture between Baptist Health Care and local area physicians. The center offers services including orthopedics, primary care sports medicine, pain management, ophthalmology, anesthesiology, plastic surgery, general surgery, podiatry, otolaryngology and vascular.  Orthopedic surgeon James Andrew, MD, is a founding partner and medical director for the Andrews Institute. Renowned in the orthopedic field, Dr. Andrews is a founding member of the American Sports Medicine Institute.

Barrington (Ill.) Pain and Spine Institute. The largest ASC in Chicago specializes in back and neck pain, sciatica, headaches, myofascial pain, pelvic pain and worker's comp. injuries. Barrington Pain and Spine Institute is a part of Illinois Pain Institute. The center's physicians have a combined nine years of experience in interventional pain treatment. The physicians have earned Castle Connolly's "Top Pain Doctor" award seven times. The center is accredited by CMS, The Joint Commission and the Illinois Department of Public Health.              

Bear Creek Surgery Center (Keller, Texas). Eight physicians partnered with SurgCenter Development to open Bear Creek Surgery Center in December 2014. The multispecialty center offers orthopedics, pain management, podiatry as well as ear, nose and throat services to patients. Of the center's cases, 50 percent are orthopedic.

Bluegrass Specialty Surgery Center (Lexington, Ky.). The ASC implemented the Navio robotic system by Blue Belt Technologies in July 2015. The center is CMS-certified and AAAHC-accredited. Physicians at Bluegrass Orthopaedics developed the center, which opened in 2006. Physicians provide outpatient orthopedic surgery and pain management services at the center, including surgical treatments for musculoskeletal conditions.

Blue Ridge Surgery Center (Raleigh, N.C.). Opened in 1985, Blue Ridge Surgery Center holds six operating rooms. The center offers orthopedic surgery, pain management services, general surgery, retina surgery and spine surgery, among other specialties. Kathy Leibl serves as the center's administrator and William Bolding, MD, serves as the medical director. The center is affiliated with Surgical Care Affiliates and is accredited by The Joint Commission.

Boulder (Colo.) Surgery Center. Opened in 2005 by surgeons and Boulder Community Health, Boulder Surgery Center is a single-specialty surgery center performing general orthopedic surgeries and sports medicine surgery. Of its cases, 72 percent are orthopedics, with 48 percent general orthopedics, 19 percent hand and 5 percent podiatry. The center is accredited by The Joint Commission and Medicare. A member of the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association, the center is also affiliated with the Colorado Ambulatory Surgery Center Association. It is managed by Pinnacle III.

Brookside Surgery Center (Battle Creek, Mich.). The multispecialty ASC opened in 1997, and has three operating rooms and two procedure rooms. Twenty-one surgeons operate at the ASC. In terms of orthopedics cases, the surgeons perform endoscopic carpal tunnel, knee arthroscopy, robotics-assisted partial knee replacement, rotator cuff repair and unilateral knee replacement. The surgery center began offering outpatient total joint replacements in September 2014. This is the first phase of Brookside Surgery Center's total joint replacement program that will soon include total hip and total shoulder replacements. The ASC received Medicare certification and AAAHC accreditation, as well is a member of the ASC Association.  
            
Carrillo Surgery Center (Santa Barbara, Calif.). Carrillo Surgery Center opened in 2005. It is a state-of-the-art, multispecialty surgery center performing general orthopedic surgeries, spine surgeries and interventional pain management procedures, providing services to patients from all areas of southern California. Carrillo Surgery Center is accredited by AAAHC and is Medicare-certified. It is approved to provide 23-hour overnight stay. Alan Moelleken, MD, serves as the medical director.

Cedar Orthopaedic Surgery Center (Cedar City, Utah). The single-specialty surgical center includes two operating rooms and was opened in 2004. COSC has been performing outpatient total knee replacements since 2004, outpatient total hip replacements since 2005 and outpatient spine procedures, including microdiscectomies and decompressions since 2008. COSC is AAAHC-accredited and Medicare-certified.

Central Valley Surgery Center (Bakersfield, Calif.). The surgery center opened in 2012. It is a state-of-the-art, multispecialty surgery center performing general orthopedic surgeries, spine surgeries and interventional pain management procedures. It provides services to patients from all areas of southern and central California. Central Valley Surgery Center is accredited by AAAHC and is Medicare-certified. It is approved to provide 23 hour overnight stay. Alan Moelleken, MD, serves as the medical director.

The Christ Hospital Spine Surgery Center (Cincinnati). The free-standing facility offers spine surgery and pain management procedures. Of its surgical cases, 46 percent are discectomies and decompressions, 30 percent are spinal fusions and 10 percent are other spine and peripheral nerve. Twelve neurosurgeons and seven pain management specialists provide services at the surgery center. The facility houses three operating rooms, a pain procedure suite and 11 pre- and postop patient rooms. The surgery center is a partnership between The Christ Hospital, spine specialists from Mayfield Clinic and United Surgical Partners International.

Christiana Spine Center (Newark, Del.). Opened in 2000, Christina Spine Center offers operative and non-operative spine treatment. The center has 10 physicians, performing orthopedic surgery or offering interventional physiatry. The center also has an imaging center, where patients can receive MRIs. The AAAHC accredited the surgery center.

City Place Surgery Center (Creve Coeur, Mo.). City Place Surgery Center opened in 2000 and offers orthopedics, spine surgery, pain management and plastic surgery services. Twenty-one physicians focus on orthopedics at the center, which holds four operating rooms.

Cornerstone Surgicare (Pensacola, Fla.). The center's board-certified orthopedic surgeons provide services in joint restoration and preservation, sports medicine and minimally invasive procedures, among others. Panhandle Orthopedics opened Cornerstone Surgicare in 2012, which is managed and owned by Practice Partners.
 
Crane Creek Surgery Center (Melbourne, Fla.). The 18,800-square-foot surgery center has eight physicians. It has four operating rooms and two procedure rooms. The surgeons offer orthopedics, spine, general surgery, pain and urology services. Blue Chip Surgical Partners serves as the equity and management company of the surgery center. Crane Creek Surgery Center is accredited by the AAAHC.

Creekside Surgery Center (Anchorage, Ala.). Creekside Surgery Center opened in November 2010 and provides ambulatory surgery services for orthopedic, ear nose and throat, podiatry, pain management and spine procedures. The center is a joint venture between local surgeons and Providence Health and Services. Orthopedics represents 59 percent of their case mix.

Deer Pointe Surgical Center (Salisbury, Md.). The multispecialty surgery center's orthopedic cases represented 57.1 percent of its total cases in 2015. Eleven surgeons and two pain management specialists operate at the center. The surgery center is accredited by the AAAHC.
 
Diagnostic and Interventional Surgical Center (Marina del Rey, Calif.) & DISC Surgery Center at Newport Beach (Calif.). The two surgery centers are associated with DISC Sports & Spine Center and are accredited by the AAAHC. Opened in 2006, the Diagnostic and Interventional Surgical Center offers spine, orthopedics and pain management services. The center has 13 orthopedic surgeons and eight spinal surgeons. It holds three operating rooms. DISC Surgery Center offers minimally invasive spine surgery and pain management services. The center has eight spinal surgeons.

Eastwind Surgical (Westerville, Ohio). Opened in 2007, Eastwind Surgical is the only surgery center in Ohio offering the Axis Jackson Surgical Table. Six neurosurgeons and one pain management specialist provide services. Accredited by the AAAHC, Eastwind Surgical is also certified by Medicare. The surgery center is affiliated with the ASC Association and the Ohio Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers.   

Englewood (Colo.) Surgery Center. The surgery center offers services for spine treatment including orthopedic spine surgery, neurosurgery, neurology, physiatry, pain medicine and pharmacology, physical therapy, rehabilitation massage therapy, chiropractic and acupuncture. Four surgeons operate at Englewood Surgery Center.

First State Surgery Center (Newark, Del.). Primarily an orthopedic surgery center, First State Surgery Center also offers pain management, podiatry and spine services. In 2015, the surgery center performed over 4,000 orthopedic cases. Seventeen physicians work at the center. The surgery center offers charity care to those in need in Delaware.

Fox Valley Orthopedics ASC (Geneva, Ill.). Fox Valley Orthopedics ASC is a state-licensed and accredited facility by the AAAHC. Procedures performed at the center include arthroscopic surgery, foot and ankle surgery, fracture care, hand surgery, knee surgery, shoulder surgery and hip scope.     

GNS Surgery Center (Athens, Ga.). Four surgeons operate at GNS Surgery Center, offering neurosurgical services focusing on spine and pain management. The surgery is in the process of receiving accreditation by the AAAHC and certification by Medicare. The surgery center is affiliated with Blue Chip Partners Surgical Partners.  

Grandview - Camp Hill (Pa.) Surgery Center. Founded in 1989, the Grandview Surgery and Laser Center is a freestanding multispecialty center. It has four operating rooms and two procedure rooms. Of the surgery center's approximately 4,500 annual cases, 91 percent are orthopedics. Grandview Surgery Center plans to add total joint replacements as a new service line in 2016.  Daniel P. Williams, DO, serves as the surgery center's medical director and Beth L. Williams, RN, serves as the administrator. The surgery center is affiliated with Surgical Care Affiliates and accredited by the AAAHC.

Greensboro (N.C.) Specialty Surgical Center. Opened in 1996, the Greensboro Specialty Surgery Center holds three operating rooms and two procedure rooms. The center offers foot and ankle, hand surgery, spine, neck and pain management, among other services. Debbie Murphy serves as administrator and Gary Cram, MD, serves as medical director. The surgery center is an affiliate of Surgical Care Affiliates and accredited by the AAAHC.

Greenway Surgery Center (Minneapolis, Minn.). In 2012, physicians established Greenway Surgery Center with SurgCenter Development. The ASC offers spine, orthopedics, general surgery, podiatry, urology, pain management and ear, nose and throat services. Seventy percent of the ASC's cases are orthopedic and spine. AAAHC accredited Greenway Surgery Center.
 
Harborside SurgCenter (National Harbor, Md.). Founded in December 2011, Harborside SurgCenter offers orthopedics, spine, joint, general surgery, ENT and plastic surgery. Harborside SurgCenter's case mix is 50 percent orthopedics. SurgCenter Development is partnered with Harborside Surgery Center's surgeons.

Hawthorn Surgery Center (Vernon Hills, Ill.). Opened in 1980, Hawthorn Surgery Center was one of the first freestanding centers in Illinois. In 2014, Hawthorn moved from its original location in Libertyville, Ill., to a newly constructed five-OR facility in Vernon Hills, Ill. Surgeons offer orthopedics, podiatry, pain management, ENT, gynecology, urology and dentistry services at the center. In late 2014, Hawthorn introduced total hip replacements as well as spine surgery as new service lines. Of the surgery center's cases, 75 percent are orthopedics. Julie Bell, RN, serves as administrator. The surgery center is an affiliate of Surgical Care Affiliates and is accredited by The Joint Commission.

Honolulu (Hawaii) Sports & Spine Surgery Center. Honolulu Sports & Spine Surgery Center is a joint venture with Surgery Partners and the center's physician owners. The center offers orthopedics, spine, neurology and pain management services to patients. CMS and the Hawaii Department of Health Services have licensed Honolulu Sports & Spine Surgery Center.

Kentucky Surgery Center (Lexington). Kentucky Surgery Center opened in 2006. The multispecialty center offers services including pain management; orthopedics; endoscopy; gynecology; ear, nose and throat; general surgery, ophthalmology, plastics, urology and dental. Of the center's total cases, 30 percent are orthopedic. ASD Management manages Kentucky Surgery Center.  

Kerlan-Jobe Surgery Center (Los Angeles). The Kerlan-Jobe Surgery Center is focused on outpatient orthopedic surgeries and sports medicine. The facility includes an extended recovery area for patients to stay 23-hours for larger procedures. The physicians affiliated with the center are team physicians for the Los Angeles Angeles of Anaheim, LA Lakers, Raiders and Dodgers.

Lakeside Surgery Center (Omaha, Neb.).  An affiliate of Surgical Care Affiliates, Lakeside Surgery Center is a joint venture between Alegent Creighton Health and a group of independent physician owners. Lakeside is a CMS-licensed outpatient center, and AAHC-accredited. More than 50 percent of the center's cases are orthopedic. The surgery center aims to honor the dignity and worth of each person, as well as provide cost-effective, convenient care.

Laser Spine Institute (Tampa, Fla.). Laser Spine Institute has locations in Philadelphia; Scottsdale, Ariz.; Oklahoma City; Tampa; Cleveland; St. Louis and Cincinnati. Headquartered in Tampa, Laser Spine Institute's physicians treat patients with a variety of spinal conditions including spinal pain, degenerative spine, bulging disc, spondylolisthesis and scoliosis, among several others. Laser Spine Institute is AAAHC-accredited.

Loveland (Colo.) Surgery Center. Loveland Surgery Center was originally formed as a joint venture between National Surgical Care and the center's physician owners. The center is accredited by The Joint Commission. Loveland Surgery Centers offers patients services in orthopedics/spine, pain management, anesthesia as well as ear, throat and nose.

Mallard Creek Surgery Center (Charlotte, N.C.). Mallard Creek Surgery Center is one of three physician-owned ASCs awarded a demonstration project from the state of North Carolina. It is a fully-orthopedics-driven ASC and performs procedures including foot and ankle surgery, knee surgery, hand surgery, elbow surgery, shoulder surgery, spine surgery, cartilage restoration, sports-related treatment and pain management.

Mayfield Spine Surgery Center (Cincinnati). Mayfield Spine was established in 1996 as a subsidiary of Mayfield Clinic. The center offers brain surgery, spine surgery, pain injections, physiatry, radiation therapy and radiosurgery and physical therapy. Mayfield offers patients MRI services. Mayfield has locations throughout Southwestern Ohio and Northern Kentucky.

Memorial Spine & Neuroscience Center (South Bend, Ind.). Memorial Spine & Neuroscience Center is certified by the AAAHC. The center has a preoperative patient care center and a post-anesthesia care unit. The center offers minimally invasive spine surgery, head and neck surgery, pain management procedures as well as peripheral nerve surgery. Through its cost-effective techniques, surgeons at Memorial Spine & Neuroscience Center aim to provide great outcomes in neurosurgery and pain management.

Metro Specialty in Jeffersonville (Ind.). Founded in 2008, the surgery center offers orthopedic surgery, pain management, podiatry, plastic surgery and ENT. The center's orthopedic cases represent 54 percent of its total cases. SurgCenter Development is partnered with the Metro Surgery Center's surgeons.
 
Missoula Bone & Joint Surgery Center (Missoula, Mont.). Missoula Bone & Joint Surgery Center is a freestanding, AAAHC-certified surgery center founded in 2001. It is a member of the Montana Ambulatory Surgery Center Association. In 2015, the center was 96 percent based in orthopedics and 4 percent in plastic surgery.

Mobile (Ala.) Surgery Center. Mobile Surgery Center is affiliated with Surgical Care Affiliates. The center offers services in orthopedics, ophthalmology, pain management, podiatry, plastic surgery, gynecology and oral surgery. A group of physicians opened Mobile Surgery Center in 1984 to provide residents an alterative to hospital-based outpatient surgery. The 19,000-square-foot facility is accredited by the AAAHC and certified by Medicare.

Moore Clinic Outpatient Surgery Center (Lexington, S.C.). Opened in 2007, The Moore Clinic Outpatient Surgery Center was founded by Moore Clinic physicians. The multispecialty surgery center specializes in orthopedics. Practice Partners developed and manage the center.

Musculoskeletal Surgery Center (Denver). Spine surgeon, Michael Janssen, MD, developed Musculoskeletal Surgery Center in 2000. The center offers orthopedic, podiatric and pain management services and is comprised of a dozen musculoskeletal surgeons. Musculoskeletal Surgery Center is equipped with four surgical suites as well as five private care rooms, which allow patients to stay for up to four days. Surgeons at the facility perform 4,000 procedures annually.

NeoSpine and Pain Surgery Center (Puyallup, Wash). NeoSpine and Pain Surgery Center has two operating rooms as well as an MRI and conference room. The center is accredited by the Joint Commission. Richard Wohns, MD, leads the ASC.

Neurological Institute Ambulatory Surgery Center (Savannah, Ga.). Neurological Institute of Savannah is accredited by the AAAHC. The center's neurosurgeons specialize in pediatric neurosurgery, traumatic brain injury, back and neck pain, aneurysms, strokes, brain tumors, Parkinson's disease, spine tumors and peripheral nerve. The center also provides pain management services.

NeuroSpine and Pain Surgery Center (Ft. Wayne, Ind.). NeuroSpine surgeons focus on neck and back surgery to treat low back pain, upper back pain, neck pain and muscle pain. The physicians of NeuroSpine and Pain Center own and operate the center in conjunction with Lutheran Hospital of Indiana. Accredited by the AAAHC, NeuroSpine and Pain Surgery Center opened in February 2007.

New Albany Surgery Center (Ohio). New Albany Surgery Center is a 16,000 square foot, physician-owned outpatient surgery center focused solely on orthopedics procedures. The center came about through a partnership with the New Albany surgeons and Mount Carmel.

New England Baptist Hospital's Outpatient Care Center (Dedham, Mass.). New England Baptist Hospital is a nationally-renowned provider for orthopedic surgery and musculoskeletal disease. The hospital's orthopedic-driven ASC encompasses 33,000 square feet and includes eight operating rooms and a spine center. The center's primary focus is on providing sports medicine and orthopedic services.

North American Spine (Dallas). North American Spine offers patients spine services to reduce or eliminate back and neck pain. Staff members include surgeons, anesthesiologists, registered nurses and medical technicians. North American Spine is AAAHC-accredited, and is licensed by the state of Texas.

North Pointe Surgery Centers (Lancaster & Lebanon, Pa.). North Pointe Surgery Center has locations in Lancaster and Lebanon. The Lancaster ASCs offers orthopedic and pain management services. North Point opened a multispecialty ASC in Lebanon in November 2015. The ASC currently is provides orthopedic and pain management services. Both centers are accredited by The Joint Commission.

Oregon Outpatient Surgery Center (Portland). Oregon Outpatient Surgery center is a multispecialty center with 75 percent to 80 percent of its cases orthopedic. The AAAHC-accredited facility was established in 2004. Oregon Outpatient Surgery Center is a joint venture between a group of physicians and Renton, Wash.-based Providence Health and Services.

Orthopedic Associates ASC (Oklahoma City). Orthopedic Associates ASC was built in 1986 and has been in practice for more than 40 years. The physician-owned center is Medicare-certified and state licensed. The center is 100 percent focused on orthopedics.

Orthopaedic and Neurological Center of Greenwich (Conn.). Orthopaedic and Neurological Center of Greenwich offers patients orthopedic, spine and sports medicine services. All ONS physicians are certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, American Board of Neurological Surgery or the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The center aims to provide excellent neurosurgical and orthopedic care to its patients through professional cooperation and compassion.

Orthopaedic & Spine Center of Southern Colorado (Colorado Springs). Orthopaedic & Spine Center of Southern Colorado opened in September 2014. Ninety-five percent of the center's case load is orthopedic, with spine accounting for 15 percent and general orthopedics accounting for 80 percent. Pinnacle III manages Orthopaedic & Spine Center of Southern Colorado. The 30,000-square-foot facility houses six operating rooms and nine private suites.

The Orthopedic & Sports Institute of the Fox Valley (Appleton, Wis.). Orthopedic & Sports Institute of the Fox Valley opened in 2006. The center has an MRI scanner and a recovery room, allowing physicians to take care of hip replacement patients until they are ready to return home. Most of the procedures performed in the ASC are total joint procedures, but the group also provides pain management and podiatry. The Orthopedic & Sports Institute of the Fox Valley is AAAHC-accredited.
 
Orthopaedic Surgery Center of La Jolla (Calif.). Orthopaedic Surgery Center of La Jolla offer specialties in orthopedic surgery, spine surgery, pain management, joint replacement, stem cell therapy, general surgery, otolaryngology, head and neck surgery and ophthalmology.

Orthopedic Surgery Center of Orange County (Newport Beach, Calif.). The Orthopaedic Surgery Center of Orange County include foot and ankle procedures, knee, hip, shoulder and spine surgeries. Ten orthopedic surgeons from two physician groups worked with Hoag Hospital to develop and open the center. The 14,000-square-foot ASC includes transparent pricing for bundled payments on the website.

Parkway Surgery Center (Hagerstown, Md.). Parkway Surgery Center is an AAAHC-accredited center that offers comprehensive spine treatments and non-invasive surgical procedures in an outpatient facility. The staff includes board certified neurosurgeons, physiatrists, pain specialists, registered nurses and physician assistants. The center has been open September 2006.

Pacific Heights Surgery Center (San Francisco, Calif.). Pacific Heights Surgery Center is a Medicare-certified, orthopedic-driven ASC that offers procedures related to orthopedics, podiatry and hand surgery. The center's orthopedic surgeons treat acute, chronic, traumatic and recurrent injuries, and their hand surgeons specialize in both surgical and non-surgical treatment of conditions that occur in the hand or upper extremity, including injury and infection.

Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.). Founded in March 2012, Palm Beach Gardens held its first case in February 2014. The center offers neurosurgery, orthopedics and spine services. Palm Beach Gardens' orthopedics cases represent 84 percent of its cases, with some spine cases. SurgCenter Development is partnered with Palm Beach Gardens' surgeons.

Paris (Texas) Surgery Center. In 2014, a group of physicians partnered with SurgCenter Development to open Paris Surgery Center. The ASC offers orthopedics, pain management, ophthalmology, gynecology, urology and ear, nose and throat services. Of the center's total cases, 50 percent are orthopedic. Paris Surgery Center is certified by the Joint Commission.

Paulsen Street Surgery Center (Savannah, Ga.). Located a few blocks from the Memorial University Medical Center campus, Paulsen Street Surgery Center is staffed with surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurses. Memorial Health owns the surgery center, which houses four operation rooms and offers ophthalmology, plastic surgery, otolaryngology, gynecology and general surgery services to patients. The practice is affiliated with Practice Partners.

Physicians Surgical Care Center (Winter Park, Fla.). An affiliate of Surgical Care Affiliates, Physicians Surgical Care Center offers patients orthopedic, otolaryngology, general surgery, pain management and plastic surgery services. Overall, the multispecialty center serves more than 9,000 patients each year, and on November 2, 2015, moved into a new, six-OR facility. Of the center's cases, 54 percent are orthopedic, including its first partial knee replacements, which were performed in December 2015. The facility expects to launch a total joint replacement program later in 2016.

Plano (Texas) Surgery Center. Physicians at Plano Surgery Center specialize in colon rectal, general surgery, gynecology, plastic surgery, orthopedics, otolaryngology, podiatry and urology. Of the center's cases, 58 percent are orthopedic. Plano Surgery Center is accredited by the AAAHC. A group of physicians partnered with SurgCenter Development to establish Plano Surgery Center.

Pointe West Surgery Center & Pointe East Surgery Center (Bradenton, Fla.). Pointe West Surgery Center and East Surgery Center are AAAHC-accredited outpatient ambulatory surgery centers. Pointe West's services include medical evaluations, pain management, outpatient surgery, physical therapy, X-ray, MRI, bracing and pharmacy. The center is 100 percent orthopedics and pain management.

Prairie Surgicare (Peoria, Ill.). Prairie Surgicare is an AAAHC-certified surgical facility founded and owned by Richard A. Kube II, MD. It was added to the existing Prairie Spine & Pain Institute in April 2012. Prairie Surgicare is 5,700 square feet and has an operating suite designed with positive air pressure.

Precision Surgery Center (Wichita, Kan.). Precision Surgery Center is a certified outpatient orthopedic-driven ASC, with about 75 percent of its case mix dedicated to orthopedics. The ASC is partnered with SurgCenter Development.

Premier Surgery Center (Santa Barbara, Calif.). Premier Surgery Center is a Medicare-certified, orthopedic-driven ASC that offers procedures related to orthopedics, pain management and podiatry. Many of Premier's surgeons specialize in sports medicine and other disorders of the musculoskeletal system.

Presidio Surgery Center (San Francisco). The Presidio Surgery Center is an ambulatory surgery facility founded in 1989. The center is accredited by The Joint Commission and is Medicare Certified. The surgery center is a Surgical Care Affiliates center and includes total joint replacements.

Roanoke (Va.) Ambulatory Surgery Center. Roanoke Ambulatory Surgery Center is a multispecialty, physician-owned center that opened in Dec. 2003 and performs about 350 to 400 cases per month. It is managed by ASD Management and has three operating rooms and one procedure room. It specializes in orthopedics (60 percent), ENT, pain management and urology.

Slocum Surgery Center (Eugene, Ore.). The orthopedic surgery center houses four operating rooms. Sixteen orthopedic surgeons perform more than 4,200 cases there annually. Slocum Surgery Center recently initiated its total joint outpatient program, RENEW. The surgery center is certified by the AAAHC.

Spine Care Specialists (Munster, Ill.). Spine Care Specialists offers the full spectrum of Spine Care solutions for patients suffering from painful conditions of the spine, including comprehensive and diagnostic services, conservative treatment approaches and the latest surgical options in the event of surgery.

Spine Centers of America (Fair Lawn, N.J.). Spine Centers of America provides techniques in endoscopic spine surgery. The center's physicians specialize in minimally invasive spine surgery. Bryan J. Massoud, MD, the founder and head surgeon, leads the center.

The Spine Institute of Southern New Jersey (Marlton, N.J.). Neurosurgeon Joan F. O'Shea, MD, founded The Spine Institute of Southern New Jersey. The center provides expertise that customizes neurological and orthopedic treatment approaches for spine disorders.

Spine & Sports Surgery Center (Campbell, Calif.). Spine & Sports Surgery Center is an outpatient ASC accredited by the AAAHC and a Medicare-certified facility. The center provides treatment and diagnoses for patients with spine disorders and sports injuries.

Spine Surgery Center of Eugene (Ore.). The Spine Surgery Center of Eugene opened in 2007 by Glenn L. Keiper Jr., MD. Licensed by the state of Oregon, the center meets CMS's certification requirements and is accredited by the AAAHC.

Squaw Peak Surgical Facility (Phoenix). Spine surgeon Anthony Yeung, MD, founded Squaw Peak Surgical Facility in 1998 to complement his practice, Desert Institute for Spine Care. The surgeons at this two-operating room surgery center perform several spine procedures, including endoscopic transforaminal thoracic and lumbar spine decompression, Yeung Endoscopic Spine Surgery and therapeutic injections.

Summit Surgery Center (Santa Barbara, Calif.). Summit Surgery Center is a Medicare certified, orthopedic-driven ASC utilizing the latest surgical techniques and the most advanced technology. The center offers the same equipment and skilled staff as a full-service hospital.

The Surgery Center of Easton (Md.). The Surgery Center of Easton is a partnership between Surgical Care Affiliates and four orthopedic surgeons. The ASC is comprised of one operating room and one procedure room. The Surgery Center of Easton was opened in 1997 and has received AAAHC accreditation. Of the center's cases, 73 percent are orthopedic. The Surgery Center of Easton's first total joint replacements are scheduled for February 2016.

The Surgery Center at Lutheran (Wheat Ridge, Colo.). The Surgery Center at Lutheran is a 15,000 square foot facility that opened in 2006. It has four operating rooms and one procedure room. The center is accredited by Medicare and the AAAHC. More than 43 surgeons perform surgery at the center. It is managed by Pinnacle III and is a member of the Colorado Ambulatory Surgery Center Association. The center has a 61 percent total focus on orthopedics (22 percent), hand (29 percent) and podiatry (10 percent).

Surgery Center of Reno (Nev.). Spinal neurosurgeon James Lynch, MD is the president and chairman of the board of directors for the Surgery Center of Reno. The Surgery Center of Reno was awarded 1st place for Clinical Excellence among Regent Surgical Health sites in 2013. In addition to orthopedic and neurosurgical procedures, the ASC offers services in urology, gynecology, dental surgery, podiatry, ENT, lithotripsy, pain management, ophthalmology, general surgery and weight loss surgery.

Surgery Center of Viera (Melbourne, Fla.). Surgery Center of Viera specializes in same-day orthopedic and spinal surgery. SCV features three surgical suite operating rooms, two procedure rooms and a 12-bed post-anesthesia care unit for recovery, with an additional private recovery room. SCV is AAAHC-accredited and Medicare certified.

Surgical Center of the Rockies (Colorado Springs, Colo.). Surgical Center of the Rockies opened in July 2013. Accredited and licensed by the AAAHC, Practice Partners owns and manages Surgical Center of the Rockies. The surgery center offers orthopedic services and houses four operating rooms.

Texas Health Orthopedic Surgery Center Flower Mound. The surgery center is a joint venture between Orthopedic Associates, Texas Health and Surgical Care Affiliates. Of the surgery center's cases, 75 percent are orthopedics. The center offers hand surgery, orthopedics, pain management, foot and ankle surgery and spine surgery. In addition, THR Flower Mound began offering total joint replacements in late 2015, and is looking to expand that line of service in 2016.

Triangle Orthopaedics Surgery Center (Raleigh, N.C.). Opened in 2013, the surgery center only performs orthopedics cases. Triangle Orthopaedics Surgery Center holds four preoperative areas, two operating rooms and seven recovery units. Twenty surgeons operate at the center, specializing in hand and wrist, shoulder and elbow, foot and ankle, spine, total joint, general surgery or sports medicine. Howard Mullins, RN, serves as administrator and chief nursing officer and William Hage, MD, serves as medical director. The center is accredited by AAAHC.

Two Rivers Surgical Center (Eugene, Ore.). Two Rivers Surgical Center is a 7,911 square foot facility that opened in July 2006. It is specifically designed for outpatient spine procedures with two well-equipped operating rooms. Its outpatient specialties include neurosurgery, pain management and podiatry.

University Center for Ambulatory Surgery (Somerset, N.J.). The 12,000-square-foot multispecialty surgery center offers full-service orthopedic surgery services, as well as pain management, urology and urogynecology. The freestanding surgery center houses three operating rooms and fifteen orthopedic surgeons operate at the center. CMS, The Joint Commission and The State of New Jersey have all certified the center.

Vail (Colo.) Valley Surgery Center. The multispeciality ASC is a joint venture between the Vail Valley Medical Center and nearly 25 physician-investors. Valley Surgery Center is AAHC-accredited, and has served patients for more than 12 years. The ASC offers services in orthopedics, pain management as well as gastroenterology.

Wisconsin Specialty Surgery Center (Kenosha, Wis.). Wisconsin Specialty Surgery Center is a Joint Commission and Medicare-approved surgical facility licensed by the State of Wisconsin. About 65 percent of the center's case mix is dedicated to orthopedics and orthopedic-spine.

Western Connecticut Orthopedic Surgery Center (Danbury, Conn.). The Western Connecticut Orthopedic Surgery Center is one of Danbury Orthopedics' centers for excellence. Danbury Orthopedics first opened in 1954 and cares for more than 70,000 patients annually and performs more than 5,000 surgical procedures a year. The ASC is 90 percent orthopedics, 5 percent spine and 5 percent total joints.

West Park Surgery Center (Cape Girardeau, Mo.). West Park Surgery Center is a freestanding outpatient surgery facility that brings together a team of neurosurgeons and their assistants in neurosurgery, pain management physician experts and a physician dedicated to physical medicine and rehabilitation. West Park specializes in spine procedures, but also offers ACDF, laminectomies, microdiscectomy, carpal tunnel treatment, ulnar nerve transposition and pain management.
