Hermitage Medical Clinic (Dublin, Ireland). The surgery center on the campus of Hermitage Medical Clinic is the first international partnership for ASC management and development company Regent Surgical Health. In 2012, the company entered into a 10-year agreement with Hermitage Medical Clinic in Dublin, the physicians of Neurosurgery Ireland and Accelitech, a full-cycle management company.

The center provides diagnosis and treatment of neurosurgical disorders, and it includes Ireland's only Cyberknife Stereotactic Radiosurgery System. Previously, Irish patients, and sometimes their neurosurgeons, were required to travel to other countries to complete their treatments.

"Regent is known for its ability to forge partnerships that improve the standard of care for the patient community, lower the cost of providing care, and align the interests of the various stakeholders for long term success," says Regent CEO Thomas Mallon. "We are proud of the fact that our reputation has caught the attention of the healthcare community beyond the U.S. borders."

The partnership is the first physician/hospital joint venture of its kind ever introduced in Ireland.

Surgery Center of Pinehurst (N.C.). In May 2014, Nueterra Global Alliance partnered with the Surgery Center of Pinehurst. "We're excited to add another partner to what has become an incredible global healthcare network," said David Miller, NGA president, in a news release.

Nueterra Global Alliance is a worldwide collaborative of medical providers, hospitals and surgery centers as well as tertiary service partners, who aim to provide borderless healthcare solutions.

The surgery center is the only center of its kind in Pinehurst, and it operates as a joint venture between area physicians, Pinehurst-based First Health of the Carolinas and Nueterra Healthcare. It is fully certified by CMS and accredited by AAAHC. It includes six operating rooms and two pain procedure rooms. Its physicians provide surgical services in gynecology, orthopedics, pain management, pediatric ophthalmology, plastic surgery and podiatry.
