Brian D. Sites, MD, will become the next editor-in-chief of Regional Anesthesia & Pain Medicine.

Three things to know:

2. In September, Dr. Sites resigned from his position on the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine's board of directors. He began transitioning to the new role under Dr. Huntoon's guidance.

3. Dr. Sites is medical director of Lebanon, N.H.-based Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center's acute pain medicine services. He is also director of orthopedic anesthesiology, director of the Center for Learning and Professional Development, and vice chair of research in the anesthesiology department.
