Company evaluates stimulus aid for anesthesia, requests input

Anesthesia Business Consultants is conducting a survey to determine how the National Emergency Fund and other stimulus packages can help its anesthesia and pain management clients weather the COVID-19 outbreak.

"The only constant in medicine is change, and we have dealt with a number of significant challenges over the years," said ABC President and CEO Tony Mira. "We will work through this one. This is not a time to panic. It is a time to strategize carefully."

Mr. Mira asked practices to share input that will help shape its guidance for clients. Click here to access the survey.

The survey comes in the wake of President Donald Trump's March 13 national emergency declaration. His administration has taken several steps to limit the outbreak's spread and to aid Americans affected by recent shutdowns.

Most recently, President Trump signed into law a coronavirus relief package including provisions for free COVID-19 testing and paid emergency leave, CNN reported.
