Grand Valley Surgical Center in Grand Junction, Colo., is looking for a new clinical director to join its dynamic leadership team.
The five-operating room, multispecialty surgery center is a joint venture between local physicians and St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction. The clinical director is responsible for coordinating and directing patient care activities and will report to the ASC's executive director.
Essential job functions include working with the OR manager and clinical leaders to provide guidance; recruiting and interviewing staff; interacting with the medical director and managers to ensure optimization; participating in the corporation's board of governors and management team with monthly meetings and other activities; and working with surgeons to ensure an optimal and fiscally responsible environment to produce optimal clinical outcomes.
Qualifications for this job include a BSN with current Colorado state nursing license or the ability to obtain one; three to vie years of previous management experience in a physician-owned ASC and the ability to work in any position in the ASC.
