GI practice in Atlanta is seeking a dynamic, experienced RN possessing excellent management, interpersonal and communication skills, who wants to play an integral part in the management of ambulatory surgery centers. Three Endoscopy centers located in Cobb, Douglas and Cherokee county.
Responsibilities Include:
The Clinical Director is responsible for all aspects of nursing care delivery in the facility
The Clinical Director will work with the Medical Advisory Committee to Lead the Clinical Operations and is responsible for Quality Improvement/Risk Management Program
The Clinical Director will oversee Clinical Education and Orientation for the facilities
Responsible for maintaining accreditation and CMS standards and all other applicable standards such as HIPPA, OSHA, Fire Safety and Disaster preparation.
As a Registered Nurse, the Clinical Director is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge.
Education and Experience:
Has successfully completed a bachelor's degree in nursing with a current GA license.
3-5 years' experience in ambulatory surgery nursing
5 years experience in a charge nurse or management role
Experience with Regulatory and Accreditation surveys, (CMS, AAAHC and Joint Commission)
Knowledge in OSHA, CMS, AORN, CDC and Accreditation standards
Direct experience with Performance Improvement Initiatives
Current BLS/ACLS
