A New Jersey man will fulfill his end of a settlement and pay $718,000 to New Jersey and $145,000 in attorney's fees after he made several legal protests. Read more. 

Colorado Springs, Colo.-based Peak Gastroenterology partnered with Varsity Healthcare Partners, marking Varsity's first investment into gastroenterology.

Western New York Medical Management opened the $3.5 million Amherst (N.Y.) Surgery Center this month after receiving approval for the project last year.

Ten outpatient orthopedic medical office buildings in North Carolina, including three featuring ASCs, were purchased for an undisclosed amount by an unnamed buyer.

New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery plans to open a 14,000-square-foot outpatient center this month in New York City's Brooklyn borough.

Warrenton, Va.-based Fauquier Health opened a surgery center in Culpeper, Va.
