Modernizing Medicine's integrated payment processing platform, Modmed Pay, is now available to medical practices, according to a May 20 announcement.
Three quick notes:
1. Modmed Pay integrates with Modernizing Medicine's practice management system for EMA EHR users as well as with the gastroenterology practice management system for gGastro EHR users.
2. Modmed Pay can process patient payments made via the patient portal, kiosks, text-to-pay services or a "quick pay page," depending on which EHR system the client is using.
3. The platform a patient engagement offering from Modernizing Medicine Retail Solutions, a Modernizing Medicine subsidiary.
