Here are four ambulatory surgery centers that have implemented robotic systems for surgery in the last few years.

Piccard Surgery Center (Rockville, Md.). The surgery center has been using Blue Belt Technologies' Navio robotic system since June 2015 for knee replacements. The multispecialty ASC is affiliated with SurgCenter Development. Established in 2009, the center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. Patty McKinley serves as the surgery center's administrator.
Bluegrass Specialty Surgery Center (Lexington, Ky.). The ASC implemented the Navio robotic system by Blue Belt Technologies in July 2015. Physicians at Bluegrass Orthopaedics developed the center, which opened in 2006. It is certified by CMS and accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. Physicians provide outpatient orthopedic surgery and pain management services at the center, including surgical treatments for musculoskeletal conditions.
Advanced Surgery Center of Bethesda (Md.). The surgery center has been using the MAKOplasty Rio Robotic Arm Interactive Orthopedic System to perform unicompartmental knee replacement surgery since December 2012. The center is in partnership with SurgCenter Development and is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. The ASC's physicians provide care in a number of specialties, including orthopedics, ENT, urology and spine.
Thomas Jefferson Riverview Surgical Center at the Navy Yard (Philadelphia). The multispecialty ambulatory surgery center offers treatments using Blue Belt Technologies' Navio orthopedic surgical system. It was the first surgery center in the United States to purchase the Navio system. The ASC was developed by area physicians, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and Nueterra Healthcare. Its physicians offer care in a wide array of specialties, including foot and ankle surgery, general surgery, hand surgery, general orthopedics and pain management. The center features four operating rooms and one procedure room.
