Chicago-based Rush University Medical Center's new outpatient center will be named after Rush donors and patients Joan and Paul Rubschlager, former owners of Rubschlager Baking, according to Crain's Chicago Business.
Three details:
1. Both Mr. and Mrs. Rubschlager underwent treatment for cancer at Rush and gave the donation that led to the creation of the new center.
2. The $450 million outpatient center is set to open in 2022 and will house imaging, radiation therapy and acupuncture treatments.
3. The motion analysis and tribology facilities will also be named after Mr. and Mrs. Rubschlager.
