Pittsburgh-based UPMC will open a new outpatient center in Greensburg, Pa., according to a Nov. 6 press release.
Here are five details to know:
- The facility is set to open Nov. 9.
- The 2,520-square-foot facility will bring 14 UPMC East clinicians and several outpatient services.
- Services will include orthopedics, cardiology, pain management and gastroenterology.
- The center was built to address an increasing number of patients at UPMC East.
- The facility plans to add more on-site convenience, including a retail pharmacy.
"Every day, an average of 228 Greensburg area residents travel to a UPMC location for their healthcare," Mark O'Hern, president of UPMC East and UPMC McKeesport (Pa.), said in a statement. "One of our goals in serving our communities is to make it as easy as possible for patients to obtain the high-quality care and services they need close to home, conveniently and efficiently."
