Good Samaritan opens $9M orthopedic surgery center in New York City suburb


The Suffern, N.Y.-based Good Samaritan Hospital opened its new orthopedic surgery center Aug. 20, according to the Rockland Times.

The 10,000-square-foot unit has 14 patient recovery rooms, a physical therapy gym and family waiting area. The surgery center also has its own private entrance. The unit was funded by a $9 million investment in Good Samaritan Hospital by health network WMCHealth.

In addition to the orthopedic surgery center, a new infusion center and bariatric unit were added to the hospital.
