The American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine has announced its 2012 Carl Koller Award recipient.
Caleb Ing, MD, a board-certified anesthesiologist and assistant professor of Columbia University, is this year's recipient of the Carl Koller Award. The $75,000 award will be used to study comparative perioperative safety outcomes between regional and general anesthesia in critically ill infants.
Co-investigators for this research are Robert K. Williams and L.S. Sun.
