U.S. Anesthesia Partners will acquire Greater Houston Anesthesiology as its "cornerstone" affiliated practice, according to PE Hub.
Greater Houston Anesthesiology will still be led by its current physicians and management team, and it will maintain its 400 anesthesia providers. Its physician partners will be equity owners in U.S. Anesthesia Partners.
USAP was recently formed through the backing of Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, and the acquisition is part of its technology growth strategy, according to the release.
