The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care has released its updated standards handbooks for both ambulatory accreditation and Medicare deemed status accreditation.
The new handbooks will introduce AAAHC's new accreditation management standards system, 1095 Engage, according to a Jan. 3 press release sent to Becker's.
The new handbooks will provide organizations tools to drive innovation, agility and excellence in the ASC setting.
1095 Engage requires standards revisions and structural changes to provide ASCs with specifically tailored plans unique to their organization.
The updates in the handbooks also reflect realignment of standards to minimize redundancies and improve clarity of requirements across AAAHC programs. The handbooks are designed to facilitate compliance and ensure providers have access to the highest quality standards and resources in the industry.
