Michigan ASC treats 'each day as another opportunity,' gaining AAAHC designation

West Michigan Surgery Center was reaccredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

The Big Rapids-based ASC first achieved AAAHC accreditation in 2016. The designation is valid for three years.

To gain accreditation, West Michigan Surgery Center demonstrated its compliance with rigorous standards of care and safety through a self-assessment and on-site survey.

"We are dedicated to providing our patients with evidence-based, cutting-edge surgical treatments that offer the best results, in an affordable, safe and effective manner," Tthe ASC's medical director and founder, Girish Juneja, MD, said in a press release. "Our skilled and knowledgeable medical team treats each day as another opportunity to ensure our patients receive the best care possible.”
