Fayetteville, Ark.-based Vold Vision's surgery center received The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for Ambulatory Health Care, local news affiliate KNWA reports.

1. This is the sixth consecutive year The Joint Commission has accredited Vold Vision.
2. The Joint Commission surveyors evaluated the surgery center's quality efforts.
3. The seal denotes Vold Vision's commitment to safe and effective patient care.
