Health Systems Management Network formed a Financial Structural Assessment Team to assess the financial structure of revenue cycle management of healthcare systems.
The team will work within HSMN’s Organizational Structure division to define roles for staff and leadership. The financial team will work to improve real-time interaction between coding staff and those submitting claim documentation.
HSMN encourages practices to consider evaluating their revenue cycle structure prior to ICD-10 implementation, according to the release.
