West Virginia is the worst state for healthcare, MoneyGeek reported April 2. 

MoneyGeek examined statistics related to health outcomes like preventable deaths, rates of certain diseases or risk factors as well as health access and cost, including how many people are uninsured and have affordable health insurance options available.

  1. West Virginia
  2. Mississippi
  3. Alaska
  4. Tennessee 
  5. Louisiana
  6. Oklahoma 
  7. New Mexico
  8. Kentucky
  9. Missouri
  10. Arizona and Maine (tied)
