SPH Analytics named Grand Rapids, Minn.-based Lakewood Surgery Center a 2017 National APEX Quality Award winner for outstanding patient satisfaction and overall quality of care.
It was one of 108 healthcare facilities recognized, including 84 ASCs.

1. A group of local physicians opened the facility in 2006.
2. The center provides ophthalmology, orthopaedic, general surgery, endoscopy, podiatry, eye laser and pain management services.
3. Lakewood Surgery Center's affiliated clinics are the John L. Bonner Eye Clinic, Itasca Surgical Clinic and Northern Pines Orthopaedic Clinic, which are also based in Grand Rapids.
