Wolters Kluwer Health has announced Memorial Hospital of Union County in Marysville, Ohio, has selected its ProVation MD software for gastroenterology and pulmonology procedure documentation and coding, according to a news release (pdf).
ProVation MD, which is available for a full range of specialties, replaces dictation and transcription and allows physicians to document procedures at the point of care.
"Memorial Hospital of Union County is dedicated to creating a new standard of healthcare in the communities it serves," said Mike Haldane, vice president and general manager, clinical documentation, for Wolters Kluwer Health Clinical Solutions, in the release. "We are pleased that they have selected ProVation MD for GI and pulmonology to further that mission and provide streamlined documentation and coding in 50 procedure rooms throughout the hospital."
Memorial Hospital of Union County is a 97-bed not-for-profit community hospital. It is an acute and primary care facility with more than 30 additional service lines.
