Cardiology

TheStreet analyzed data from ZipRecruiter and Medscape to rank which surgery specialties paid the most in 2018.

Leerink Partners surveyed 47 hospital administrators about bundled payments and outpatient surgical procedure volumes. Here are the percentages of outpatient procedures performed in the past 12 months, and the volume expected

The report defines a "single-specialty ASC" as one with more than 67 percent of its Medicare claims in one clinical specialty and a "multispecialty ASC" as one with more than 67 percent of its Medicare claims in more than one clinical specialty. The sum of multispecialty percentages doesn't equal 100 due to rounding. Here's a breakdown on the specialties that billed Medicare in 2016:
