The Bureau of Labor Statistics released its July employment statistics, noting that the unemployment rate remained unchanged at 3.7 percent.

1. Healthcare-related employment numbers increased by 30,000 jobs in July.
2. The majority of that growth (29,000 jobs) was in the ambulatory healthcare services sector.
3. Over 2019, healthcare employment increased by 405,000 jobs, with about 66 percent of those jobs in the ambulatory space.
