HealthCare Appraisers' 2019 ASC Valuation Survey outlined the number of ASCs that management companies own or manage.
HealthCare Appraisers and the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association collected data from 26 companies, including ASC managers, investment bankers and business brokers, to compile its report.
The number of ASCs respondents said they have under ownership:
Fewer than 10: 47 percent
11 to 20: 13 percent
21 to 30: 7 percent
31 to 40: 0 percent
41 to 50: 3 percent
Over 51: 30 percent

Fewer than 10: 50 percent
11 to 20: 13 percent
21 to 30: 7 percent
31 to 40: 0 percent
41 to 50: 7 percent
Over 51: 23 percent
