How US physician compensation & medical school fees compare to those abroad

U.S. physicians may be paid more than their international colleagues, but their medical school costs are also higher, according to Medscape's 2019 International Physician Compensation Report.

To compile its report, Medscape gathered data from its compensation reports published in the UK, Germany, France, Spain and Brazil.

Brazil: $58,000
Mexico: $22,000
