NJAASC launches New Jersey specific benchmarking initiative

The New Jersey Association of Ambulatory Surgical Centers will begin a benchmarking initiative, specific to New Jersey ASCs.

"This has been a long time coming, and certainly something that we think will be helpful- a true benefit of membership for our member centers," said Jeff Shanton, president of NJAASC. "Our first survey that went out this week, will focus on with SSI, a timely topic to say the least. We have other benchmarking topics that we will undertake as well over the next year. We believe that this initiative will be particularly beneficial to all of the one-room centers in New Jersey that are now required to be licensed as of January 2019. With our robust center membership, we anticipate a large sample return that will lend credence to the survey results."
