WalletHub released its annual report of the best and worst states for healthcare Aug. 5.

WalletHub weighed the 50 states and Washington, D.C., against three key comparison points: cost, access and outcomes.

Here are the 10 best states for healthcare, with their total score out of 100:

2. Massachusetts — 62.33
3. Rhode Island — 62.12
4. Washington, D.C. — 61.38
5. Vermont — 60.13
6. New Hampshire — 59.80
7. Hawaii — 59.64
8. Maine — 59.44
