Clinical Advisor released the results of its 2019 nurse practitioner and physician assistant salary survey.

The survey outlines average compensation, yearly salary increases and more.

Here are the highest paying specialties for PAs and NPs:

Top paying PA specialties:

1. Geriatric medicine: $165,833
2. Urgent care: $125,281
3. Primary care: $120,887
4. Adult medicine: $120,577
5. Pediatrics: $116,806
6. Other: $112,730

Top paying NP specialties:

1. Psychiatry: $130,382
2. Urgent care: $116,293
3. Geriatric medicine: $112,177
4. Other: $110,096
5. Adult medicine: $107,672
6. Family medicine: $102,158
