3 updates to know for colorectal cancer awareness month

March is colorectal cancer awareness month. Here are three recent updates on colonoscopies and CRC screening:

1. Low-performing colonoscopists improved adenoma and serrated lesion detection rates when presented with instructional videos and report cards. Read more here.

2. Early-onset colorectal cancer rates continue to confound clinicians and researchers, with a new report claiming half of all new diagnoses were in people 66 and younger. Read more here.

3. The majority of Medicare patients were likely to complete the multitarget stool DNA test Cologuard over a yearlong period, according to a study published in the Journal of Medical Screening. Read more here.
