Coronado Surgery Center (Henderson, Nev.). The surgery center offers cardiology services as well as orthopedics and sports medicine services. It is accredited by Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. Bill McGory, MHA, serves as administrator of the center.
Fremont (Calif.) Surgery Center. The surgery center offers cardiology services, one of the newest specialties to be added to the center. Cardiologists perform a number of procedures at the center, including installing auto internal cardiac defibrillator and pacemakers. In addition, the ASC offers surgical services in ENT, gastroenterology, general surgery, gynecology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, urology and ophthalmology. The facility features seven operating rooms and four procedure suites. It is certified by Medicare and accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities.
Naples (Fla.) Day Surgery. The ASC offers care in a number of specialties, including cardiology and electrophysiology. Physicians at the center perform pacemaker insertions and replacement, which cost, on average, $16,310 at the Naples Day Surgery South location from October 2013 to September 2014. Other specialties offered at the center are gastroenterology, ENT, ophthalmology, general surgery and interventional radiology. Naples Community Hospital opened Naples Day Surgery in 1986. The second location was opened in 1992. Naples Day Surgery is accredited by the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and a member of the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association.
Surgery Center of Oklahoma (Oklahoma City.). The surgery center offers a number of cardiovascular procedures, including femoral-popliteal bypass graft with saphenous vein, which costs $10,700 at the center; and implanted defibrillator power pack change, which costs $20,570. The center also offers services in anesthesiology, general surgery, urology and orthopedics. The 35,535-square-foot facility is owned and operated by approximately 40 surgeons and anesthesiologists in Oklahoma. It is accredited by Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care and was one of the first ASCs to embrace price transparency.
Twin Lakes Surgery Center (Daytona Beach, Fla.). The ASC provides surgical services in a wide-array of specialties, such as ophthalmology, gastroenterology, pain management orthopedics and cardiology. Its cardiology services are limited to pacemaker placement and battery changes. The 15,000-square-foot surgery center includes five operating suites, two minor procedure rooms, 12 preoperative stations and 10 postoperative stations. It is a part of Halifax Health in Daytona Beach.
