Durango, Colo.-based Mercy Hospital has broken ground on an ASC and medical office building on the hospital's campus, according to an Oct. 26 report from the Durango Herald.

Nashville, Tenn.-based Ascension Saint Thomas is opening an ASC in partnership with United Surgical Partners International and Tennessee Orthopedic Alliance, the Rutherford County Source reported Oct. 26.

NorthShore-Edward-Elmhurst Health broke ground on a 71,000-square-foot cardiovascular institute in Naperville, Ill., according to an Oct. 19 report by RE Journals.

Dallas-based Texas Digestive Disease Consultants and Cedar Park (Texas) Regional Medical Center have broken ground on a joint partnership multispecialty ASC, the Pflugerville (Texas) Surgery Center, according to an Oct. 24 report from Community Impact.

Florence, S.C.-based McLeod Health has broken ground on an ASC on its Carolina Forest campus in Myrtle Beach, ABC affiliate WPDE reported Oct. 24.

Cullman (Ala.) Regional Medical Center has earned approval from the State Health Planning & Development Agency certificate of need review board for the construction of a new ASC at Hartselle (Ala.) Health Park, according to an Oct. 24 report from the Hartselle Enquirer. 

Hoover, Ala.-based Medplex Outpatient Surgery Center has earned approval from the state's certificate-of-need review board to relocate its existing facility and construct an ASC two miles away, according to an Oct. 20 report from the law firm Bradley Arant Boult Cummings posted on JDSupra.

Hartford (Conn.) HealthCare has broken ground on the second phase of a $50 million healthcare hub, which includes redeveloping a one-story commercial building into a 47,000-square-foot medical office building, according to an Oct. 20 report from NEREJ.

Methodist Hospital is in talks with the Bellaire (Texas) City Council to develop a medical office building in the city's downtown area, according to an Oct. 19 report from Community Impact.

Peoria, Ill.-based Springfield Clinic hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for its Peoria Surgery Center on Oct. 18, CBS affiliate WMBD reported.

Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Medical Clinic & SurgiCenter plans to open a new, 75,000-square-foot facility at the end of the month, according to an Oct. 18 report from WGNS Radio.

A specialized surgery center is part of a $23.3 million medical campus planned in Liberty Township, Ohio, according to an Oct. 18 report by The Cincinnati Enquirer. 

Boston-based Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center has announced plans to develop a multispecialty ambulatory care center in Quincy, Mass. 

Construction has been completed on the Mercy Center for Performance Medicine and Specialty Care, a multispecialty center on the health system's St. Louis hospital campus.

The University of Missouri-Kansas City has released renderings of its planned $120 million medical and dental office building, the system's largest capital investment to date, according to an Oct. 17 report from Fox 4 News.
