Here are five developments on ASC activity in the South that Becker's has reported on since April 2:
1. Sugar Land, Texas-based Kelsey-Seybold Clinic opened its expanded Fort Bend Medical and Diagnostic Center which includes an ASC space.
2. Altamonte Springs, Fla.- based AdventHealth opened a 20,000-square-foot ASC in Daytona Beach, Fla.
3. Bon Secours Mercy Health and Compass Surgical Partners' joint venture surgery center opened April 11 in Greenville, S.C.
4. A new ASC is coming to Foley, Ala., near South Baldwin Regional Medical Center, which is launching a $250 million expansion project.
5. A three-story medical office building with an ASC is set to open in Spring, Texas, in May.
