Kenneth Luckie Vandervoort, MD, a member of the board of directors at The Surgery Center of Oxford (Ala.), was elected a trustee for the University of Alabama on Thursday, according to a Tuscaloosa News report.
Dr. Vandervoort graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine and completed the University of Tennessee's orthopedic surgery residency program in 1987. He is the past chief of medical staff and a past member of the board of directors at the Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center and past president of the Alabama Orthopedic Society.
