Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons and its subsidiary Ohio Eye Care Consultants formed a consolidated ophthalmology platform called Midwest Vision Partners, which will be led by CEO Joseph Giles.
Four highlights:
1. Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons and Ohio Eye Care Consultants completed their sale with Alpine Investors. Physician Growth Partners served as Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons' exclusive adviser.
2. The investment is expected to help Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons and Ohio Eye Care Consultants scale their vertically integrated models. Midwest Vision Partners is positioned to partner with similar ophthalmology practices across the Midwest.
3. Larry Lohman, MD, is a founding shareholder of Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons, which provides medical and surgical eye services at seven regional offices.
4. Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons has offices in Stow, Kent and Akron. Its St. Clare Surgery Center is in Stow.
