The first hip arthroscopy procedure at Paris, Tenn.-based Henry County Medical Center Surgery Center was performed by Kyle Stephens, DO, in March.
Here are four highlights.
1. Dr. Stephens is an orthopedic surgeon at West Tennessee Bone & Joint in Paris.
2. The hip arthroscopy was the first performed in Henry County.
3. Dr. Stephens was able to carry out the procedure with HCMC's newly purchased Arthrex equipment.
4. Other services offered at HCMC Surgery Center include urology, ophthalmology, gastroenterology and podiatry.
