1. Robert Ray Jr., MD, founded DISC Sports and Spine Center. Since its inception, the center has grown to embrace minimally invasive and noninvasive techniques.
2. DISC Sports and Spine Center employs 15-plus physicians across various specialties.
3. Physicians at the center have performed more than 6,000 surgeries with a 98 percent satisfaction rate.
4. Compared to other Newport Beach- based ASCs, DISC Sports and Spine Center has a zero percent surgical MRSA infection rate.
5. In May, DISC Sports and Spine Center entered a partnership with Global One and Blue Shield to form a bundled payment model.
