EP Global Communications has appointed Corey W. Hunter, MD, to the position of company medical director and chairman of the scientific advisory board.
Dr. Hunter played a key role in early research for the Muscle Pain Detection Device with New York University physicians Michel Dubois, MD, and Shengping Zou, MD. He headed the team that published a study showing significant improvement in muscle pain detection using the MPDD device versus traditional manual pressure.
Currently based in New York City, Dr. Hunter completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at NYU Langone Medical Center and a fellowship in pain medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College, both in New York City. He has a special interest in advanced interventional techniques and minimally invasive spinal procedures.
