Here are four recent supply chain partnership and software releases:
1. Medical technology company Carlsmed is developing a surgical workflow platform for spine deformity intervention through a merger with Precisive Surgical. The system will integrate bioengineering and biomedical technology to decrease intraoperative device fitting trial-and-error, lower postoperative complications and reduce surgical costs for patients, surgeons, hospitals and surgery centers.
2. Ospitek, a developer of software for ASCs, has launched its View surgical center management platform. The new system is customizable and uses artificial intelligence to automate processes. Key features of the View system include patient tracking, an automated and customizable dashboard and automated updates to patients' family members and healthcare organizations outside the ASC.
3. ASC technology company Surgical Information Systems has launched its SIS Complete platform for case management. The new system includes SIS Office, a new ASC management software that addresses ASC business and operational needs.
4. Surgical Notes has integrated its SNChart revenue cycle management software with HSTpathways' ASC management software in a new partnership. The integration will streamline patient chart completion, saving clinicians the hassle of manually entering patients' operating notes.
