MDmetrix raised $3 million through a seed round the company will use to improve its artificial intelligence capabilities.

1. The company will hire several employees for its Seattle headquarters to work on its AI.
2. Organizations can use MDmetrix's suite of analytical, visualization and AI-focused tools to improve clinical operations at their ASCs and hospitals. The tools monitor pain scores, procedure times and readmission rates, among other metrics.
3. Organizations saved $15 million with MDmetrix's tools in 2018.
MDmetrix CEO Warren Ratliff said, "With this infusion of smart and experienced capital, we will expand our team and enhance the machine learning capabilities of our system, accelerating our mission of transforming healthcare for all."
