Access MediQuip, a provider of comprehensive surgical implant management solutions, has announced it has signed an agreement with Humana for Access MediQuip to provide surgical implant management services to Humana members.
Under this agreement, Access MediQuip will provide surgical implant services to Humana members nationwide including insurance verification, implant management and claim submission for surgeries using implants, according to an Access MediQuip news release.
"We are pleased that Humana — a leader with a reputation for innovation to help improve the health and well-being of their members — chose Access MediQuip to manage their surgical implants," said Prakash Patel, MD, CEO of Access MediQuip, in the release. "Our agreement with Humana is further validation of Access MediQuip's specialty managed care leadership in addressing both the challenges and opportunities that implants represent."
