UnitedHealth Group's Optum, the country's largest employer of physicians and parent company of ASC chain SCA Health, is attracting a lot of attention with its rapid growth. 

A 14,000-square-foot ASC facility in Sugar Land, Texas, has sold, according to an April 10 report from REBusiness Online.

Boise, Idaho-based Saint Alphonsus will acquire Saltzer Health's ASC and two urgent care centers as the provider shutters its operations in the area, according to an April 1 report from CBS affiliate Idaho News.
